Björn Dahlöf, M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Dahlöf is an internist and a specialist in the cardiovascular area. He has successfully designed and initiated several large clinical trials in phase III and phase IV stages in the cardiovascular area, e.g. the “ASCOT” trial and the “LIFE” trial and most recently the Japanese JIKEI Heart study all published in The Lancet and with scientific outcome s which have had a profound effect on clinical guidelines. Dr. Dahlöf consequently brings both pre-clinical and clinical expertise to Vicore Pharma together with an important network of academic collaboration and important high level pharma industry contacts. He has had an interest in the importance of the AT2receptor since more than 10 years.
Thomas Unger, M.D., Ph.D.
Professor Unger is leading the Center for Cardiovascular Research (CCR) at Charité hospital in Berlin, Germany. He is a world re-known researcher and an authority in the field of cardiovascular research and he has taken a special interest in research on the AT2receptor. Professor Unger is also a valued speaker at international conferences in the cardiovascular area and holds important positions in international scientific organizations.
