Strategic research on the AT 2 concept is conducted in collaboration with Professor Thomas Unger at Center for Cardiovascular Research (CCR). The center is situated at the Charité Hospital in Berlin, Germany. Pofessor Unger and his group of researchers have developed the pre-clinical plan for cardiovascular indications for the company´s candidate drug. CCR have considerable experience with drug development reserach from drug development projects with both large and small pharmaceutical industries.
Sahlgrenska Academy is the medical research and teaching part of The Univetsity of Gothenburg. Vicore Pharma collaborates closely with relevant researchers within the faculty.
The substances developed in Vicore Pharma have been developed and synthesized at the Medicinal Chemistry Department at Uppsala University under the guidance of Professor Anders Hallberg who also holds the Dean’s chair at this prestigious university.
